These terms explain the intended use of Novus PDF Studio and the responsibility that remains with the person preparing the final document.

Novus PDF Studio is provided for PDF transformation, security, review, annotation, form filling, signing preparation, and export workflows. Use it only for lawful purposes and only on documents you own or are authorized to modify.
You are responsible for the files you open, the information you enter, and the finished PDFs you submit, sign, store, or share. Documents are processed on your device and never reach our servers; optional saved sessions remain under your browser and device controls.
AI scanning and manual tools are productivity aids. Review final documents carefully before using them for official, legal, medical, financial, or benefits-related purposes.
You agree not to use Novus PDF Studio to create, alter, or distribute documents in a way that is fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful — including forging signatures, falsifying records, or removing protection from a PDF you are not authorized to unlock. The unlock tool is intended only for documents you own or have explicit permission to access. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with any laws, contracts, or organizational policies that apply to your documents.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. PDF permission flags set by the Protect tool are viewer-enforced controls rather than absolute digital rights management, and their behavior depends on the PDF reader that ultimately opens the file. AI field detection is a best-effort aid and may miss fields or suggest ones you do not need.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Novus Stream Solutions is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including lost documents, missed deadlines, or errors in a final PDF. Because every document is processed on your own device and is never transmitted to us, you are responsible for keeping your own backups and for reviewing every finished file before you rely on it.
The service is free and supported by advertising. Ads are served by Adsterra for the current month, and we use Google Analytics — the only analytics service on this site — to understand aggregate, page-level usage. Google AdSense remains listed in ads.txt for possible future use but its script is not loaded. In the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, advertising loads only after you opt in through the cookie banner. Elsewhere advertising is on by default and you can turn it off at any time. Global Privacy Control blocks advertising and analytics while active, and Google Analytics is opt-in everywhere. Each eligible export or print action may open one Adsterra sponsor page while advertising is allowed. See the Privacy and Cookies pages for full details.
Save on this device is optional and never autosave. It stores the PDF and editor layers in this browser's IndexedDB only after you choose it, never stores a password, and offers per-session deletion and Delete All. You are responsible for access to your device, local backups, browser storage eviction, and deleting a retained session when it is no longer needed. Novus Stream Solutions cannot view, restore, transfer, or delete a session on your behalf because it never leaves your device.
We may update these terms as the product evolves or as legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date below, and continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
The service is provided as-is for document preparation and is free to use, supported by advertising (Adsterra for the current month) with aggregate usage measured by Google Analytics — advertising is opt-in in the EEA, UK and Switzerland and opt-out elsewhere, analytics is opt-in everywhere. See the privacy and cookies pages for details. PDF permission flags are viewer-enforced controls rather than absolute DRM. Confirm page order, ranges, rotation, numbering, encryption access, field placement, signatures, values, dates, and formatting before final use.
