An account is optional here

Every tool on this site works without one, exactly as it does now, and nothing about signing in changes where your documents are processed. An account exists so the choices you make stop disappearing when you switch devices or clear your browser.

What an account actually holds

  • Your settings, on every device

Appearance, motion, the recognition language you use most, and the tools you keep reaching for. Today those live in this browser and vanish when you clear site data.

  • Workflows you repeat

Rotate, then number, then compress at the same quality, saved as a recipe you can re-run on a new file. The recipe is the settings, not the file.

  • Documents you build here

Anything you compose in the document builder can be saved and reopened. That is text you typed into our own editor, not a PDF you opened from your disk.

What it never holds

No PDF you open, no page image, no text pulled out of a scan, no value you type into a form, no password you use to unlock a document, and not even the name of a file you chose from your own disk. Those stay in this browser whether you are signed in or not. Read how it works for the full path a file takes, or the privacy policy for what is kept and for how long.

At least 12 characters. There is no verification email, so length is what protects the account.
